Air National Guard

This week, our field crews were called to provide construction staking for two new aircraft covers at the Fresno Air National Guard. Working with the contractor, we were able to help locate the exact corners of the structures to help them place the columns correctly.
Unfortunately, they were not giving any free rides in the F-16's at the time. Maybe next project.

Surveying on the Roof

Surveyors usually have their feet firmly planted on the ground. We were able to work out of the box a bit for a Solar Panel company we have been providing services for by spending some time on the roof. We recently surveyed two large industrial buildings near Oxnard, CA which will soon be supporting large solar panels. It was important to our client that they know exactly where any facilities are on the roof so there are no conflicts with the new panels.
